The client approached us to craft the UI/UX design for their app, providing a detailed brief on the complexities of raising a child and the critical aspects to consider in app development. Throughout the creation process, we collaborated closely with the client, engaging in consistent meetings to evaluate progress and plan subsequent phases. Our agile UX design methodology encompassed four pivotal stages, including persona analysis, internal evaluations, development of wireframes, creation of low and high-fidelity prototypes, user testing, and final design execution.
Log in
Our login page for Raising Smart is the epitome of simplicity and functionality. Users are greeted with an intuitive interface for entering their email and password, with a “Forgot password?” option conveniently positioned for quick recovery. Beneath the prominent “Log in” button, a “Register” link invites new users to join, ensuring the app's entrance is as smooth and inviting as the user experience that follows.
Goals
The "Goals" page in the Raising Smart app allows parents to customize their parenting journey by selecting objectives like "less arguments" or "more family time." This selection tailors the app's advice to their specific needs, making it a personalized guide in their parenting journey. Simple icons and a straightforward layout ensure the process is quick and user-friendly, setting the stage for a tailored experience that adapts to each family's growth and aspirations.
Knowledge
The "Knowledge" page in the Raising Smart app is crafted to deepen the understanding between parents and their children. This interactive section prompts parents to input the names of their child's friends and share their child's aspirations, thereby gauging the depth of their insight into their child’s social circle and personal dreams. The page also features a self-assessment tool, where parents can rate their level of knowledge, providing a reflective moment to consider areas for improvement. This personalized data enables the app to offer more focused advice and strategies, promoting enhanced communication and connection within the family.
Personalized advice
The "Personalized Advice" page is a cornerstone of the Raising Smart app, where parents receive customized guidance to assist them on their parenting journey. The page is neatly organized with tabs for the newest, trending, and saved advice, allowing users to easily navigate through a wealth of information tailored to their family's needs. Each piece of advice falls under relevant categories such as “Communication” with concise summaries and an option to read more for in-depth understanding. This curated content is informed by the user's input and preferences, ensuring that every recommendation is as relevant and impactful as possible for fostering strong family bonds and effective parenting practices.
